Tragically Beautiful

By DeificLightning

With great art comes great pain,
And with tragedy comes beauty.
Sorrowful tears paint crystalline on canvas.
Breaking hearts beat out breathtaking words.
Fractured emotions sculpt things wondrous.
While anguished voices create tunes sonorous.
For art requires inspiration.
And what better inspiration is there
Than the shattered souls
And broken cries of humanity,
Which are all too common.

A Gregorian chant comes to mind here DL, something from the Dark Crystal perhaps. Touching those hard to reach places hidden in the legends of the shadow lands. Cheers and nicely done - Dan

We also liked this piece, but there is something about pain and creativity. We're gonna have to think on this. Again we enjoyed the piece
