I'm now going to poorly narrate a long winded dream losing steam
By Candy Cain
Two young women of the fairest fair skin, wrapped in white cloth held to
them by gold braces and sturdy belts. maybe they were warriors, if that
determined look and strong stance is anything to go by. maybe they were
some kings concubines or just fancy hookers, if we're just going by the
cloth. on the left side stands the slightly taller and larger woman of
a rich gold blonde locks. meanwhile on the right, the...let's say scrawnier
one looks forward with her deep maroon red hair turned up in a pony tail.
and this is where they stand no matter how you face them. no matter if
you come from in front or behind, the redhead stands tall to the right,
with goldilocks to the left. it's no trick of the eye either, they don't
have dyed hair. they don't where their hair one color in the front one
in back. they arent switching places. this is simply how they stand, reguardless
of space. i wonder what they look like when you over lap them?
So here they are, standing in front of some kind of palace, or temple.
i dunno, it's never seen from the outside. it uses ancient roman architecture
with renaissance art and aesthetic. all the marble polished to shine and
gold laced around here and there. tall roman pillars that fall high into
the arched ceiling, which is painted with the images of gods and goddesses.
tl;dr this place is really pretty.
From out of the shadows down the hall steps an old lady. grey hair, hunched
over, she's the local fortune teller. She evaluates the two before her,
and mentions to Goldilocks about how she has the potential to become strong
and join the gods and become something of a warrior goddess, which is ecstatic
news to the two...until she gets to ponytail on the right. says that she's
better off staying 'round there to learn some fortune telling tips, and
learn the arts. Oh, well that's disappointing. not only are two girls going
to be apart, one is going to get the short end of the stick. but they accept
their roles begrudgingly because we have to get on with the plot, so goldilocks
takes her leave.
Times passed. probably months, maybe years, and goldilocks has been doing
a bunch of hercules trials type things i guess. stalking and slaying tyrants
and leading battalions into battle. but for every trial faced, or battle
fought, or enemy slain, she feels colder, til even the heat of battle feels
cold. Ponytail has been facing her own trials too, which mostly consists
of housework, like halls to clean or books to read. and whatever envy she
had for her golden goddess turned to spite ages ago. she doesn't nearly
get to leave these halls.
But now blondie has come back around, and failed to become a goddess. and
it's not fair. that was a lot of work and a lot of sacrifice and a lot
of winter filling her bones, doing her best to help the people. Ponytail
wants to show her the interior of whatever f^ck this palace place is, so
now we're fiddling with loose brick walls and moving statues into new alignments
and activating triggers because APPARENTLY this place has like a million
secret rooms and sh*t. and they take each other by the hand and go Assassin's
Creeding up and down and through all the new architecture til they hit
a secret ballroom made of mostly gold and full of roses. and they dance
together. twirling and zipping and dipping and unfurling, and all the spite
and rage bleeds into cartharsis, and all that cold blue death fades into
a smile, and the camera spins around and around, and we see them switch
sides finally. left right, right left, down and cross, and whenever they
cross each other you can see a new silhouette become them for just a second.
It's a scene lifted from Beauty and the Beast, but so much dizzier. the
rose pedals are dancing all around the bright gold room.
They lay together on the floor. but instead of two people its one person
who's hair is something like a deep purple and i guess they're a goddess
now and then i blushed and woke up please don't judge me. ._.
Author's Note:
TL;DR a bunch of Steven Universe style plot lines I guess. I'll fix some issues later.Comments on "I'm now going to poorly narrate a long winded dream losing steam"
