Stupid Cupid

By felicity0444

I see you cupid flitting about
          looking busy being mischievious.
I see also you've found the lucky
two for today who will unknowingly
          aid you in your transgressions.
T'was the gleam in your eyes that first
clued me in to where your
          kind of happiness leads.
Now that grin on your face, and
          those roses on your cheeks
do not seem so cute to me.
Did you not in your tutorship learn
the proper two souls to make into one?
How can you feel joy at seeing two in
love that will forever be kept apart?
So I hope those bright eyes help you see
very well, for I'm on to you now, you see.
And if ever I cross your path again you'll know
I am no friend in need.

Once burned perhaps Felicity... Some things are always better if imagined and meanwhile, the need builds into another hopeless crescendo of further folly. Or not - it's a crap shoot. Cheers! - Dan
