Rabid Moon
By Tagen
Stark howl
Pierce the night
Lifeless
Devoid of light
She cries
And bleeds
She praysÂ
On her knees
On the arrow
Bone and marrow
Bless'd winds
Laced with sorrow
I dig
Three feet deep
For tonight
I shall sleep
Beneath the rabid moon.

I've always had moonlust. My eyes are always drawn to it and I can stare at it, contentedly, for hours. This put it into words beautifully. Pain and joy.
