Secrets Spilt From the Thin, Cracked Mind

By Tagen

I.
sickness squelched, squeezed
enemy breathes...down my back
while she's on bended knee
please, mommy, please
help...
.
.
surrender passion
good will to man
afraid, played
temptation wins over the starving human
i lie awake, feel the ten percent
curl up and cry, die
..cuz i felt comforted.

II.
barbed wire
'round the heart of a kitten
feeling the cold side of satan
pick petals from the flowers of my mind
piece by piece
schizo heart squeeze.
tragedy and trauma

i've died
heart, mind, and soul
traumatized

hope leaves
so i can breathe

weep

scream

hope
to
die

A painful portrait Tagen and the opening snapshot was metaphorically just superb. Stiff upper lip and all that - cheers! - Dan "the cold side of Satan" - when Hell freezes over, yes!!!
