suicide on white rose petals
By Asura
Suicide on white rose petals
Venal fire, like belief
That the dust that burning settles
Will bring silence and relief.
Free falling from pixel art
I lose myself in crescent dreams
In dreams where only you take part
A mere, distant memory that screams...
Forgetting and remembering in time
About the lust, the passion and our love,
I kill myself with white rose-like ideas
And hopefully i'll watch you from above..

I love how you incorporate the iconic purity of the white rose, and co-mingle it with the hush-hush topic of suicide. A beautiful, interwoven ode to the lost purity of love and the devastating fallout. Bravo, my friend. Reb:).

What a nice, small, painful piece. It's simple, but not dumb, and it feels honest in a way that enhances the melancholy. Great use of imagery, as well. Good poem.
