Autumn Bleeds
By Tagen
All nature sings in minor key,
Mourning denied Deity.
Only now the stones will speak
Of the dignity of fallen sparrows.
Gone now are the glassy skies
Silent like my inner cries
Blessed are the shades of night -
Shattered just like porcelain.
Futile are these wounds I bring
Beauty abandons everything
Like the rose's vanity
The petals fade, but not the thorn
Oh, cast me from thy tattered wings!
Cast me to the raging seas!
Maybe then my soul will sing
Maybe bliss my death will bring...

Lots going on here Tagen, and the stones will sing in a minor key as the sparrow falls to its destiny. Cheers for this sorrowful commemorative unless I miss my guess - Dan
