My Beautiful, My Wild Girl
By Eadgar Anton Crowe
Her skin is soft
Silk over the scales of mine
And with her hand I walk
Just she and I
Into the world, arms unfurled
Wrapt about her frame
With my pacing heart beat singing,
Fervently, her name
My beautiful, my wild girl
With brown hair and eyes aflame
Has come to kiss my world
In her own sacred way

"Silk over the scales of mine" elegant line!. This seems more like you and I was starting to miss that. Gentle, genuine, soft and lovely! Great piece!

Unlike most of my poems this was written about a specific girl. Who has recently come into my life. Most of my love poems are more a comment on love than the relation of my experience with it.
