Float away
By beamish
I think I would like to be lost in space.
Just to float away in a suit of silver.
Look at the star maybe visit Mars.
Swim the rings of Saturn before going to the moon for a bit of cheese.
Just think how glorious those days would be.
The spaceman on a odyssey.
You could face off with Marvin and do what buggies was unable get done.
Then float back off after you won.
I can't think of a better way to spend my nights and the never ending day.
Floating where only the gods are supposed to play.
Then sleep on the sun when your day is done.
But it's just a dream not meant for me cause my feet are made of lead and
I'm stuck here till I'm dead.

I always wanted to travel through space, sense I could remember, at age 4. I still have dreams and high hopes of one day accomplishing that goal. But deep down inside, I know that it's a lost cause. .sighs. Thank you for the memory. -Bows

A fantasy often shared by those with the aesthetic touch to their natures. You express the ultimate escapism and it is easily understood and shared by most. Well composed with really good word selections forming a delightful read.
