A Delightful Habit
By Dark Chocolate
I ran
she chased,
escaped for a second
caught for a minute
felt faded like dusky evening
I ran
she chased,
baked like biscuit
the taste her mischief.
I ran
she chased,
stuck on the fence of tension
wired with anxieties.
She kissed my lips,
pulled her breath in my lungs.
I ran
she chased,
now I'm laid in the grave
but this time she faded away.
I was chasing the white dragon
and
And the dragon, she chased me back.

Chasing the dragon... an addictive habit. Very well written. I love it... and understand it

I giggled at the end, 'And the dragon, she chased me back." Well, no shit, you were chasing it. I really liked, "She kissed my lips, pulled her breath in my lungs." Such a gorgeous verse. -Bows
