Conveyors say it all
By Jessica Orr
Depending on
a baseline is efficient;
conveyors fight holding
onto milk cartons,
they never said the
dairy trade was fair,
damn milk wars the result.
It started on the day of one,
farmer versus farmer
and nobody won;
I am the scribe and
she saw things best left
to novelists,
as you would not conceive;
And they were born,
And they lived
And they saw it all,
And girls did see the worse
As milk wars
are a zero sum arithmetic,
as 2 becomes 4
and 16 the result
as numbers continue and
They never repeat,
and repeat is the sound
and it is the same...
Ever playing,
Calculators,
mixing the results,
never wrong;
just as milk goes stale,
life is pale,
and we milk,
dry dry dry,
blood from stones
and parts left over
Why choose?
An island of ill or
A water blackness?
What's your poison?
Do brave souls know
Really the veterans heart?
Questions questions questions
No one knows,
False prophets say yes but
They have whores on the side
And eat steak and I'm
So hungry and tired;
Fair fair fair
Exists for suburban kids
On mopeds and they
Don't see they will be
Presidents and they are
Nice nice nice
But they don't know
Hungry
And they don't know
Vice
As fuel is fire
And they are above
And farm the lands
Whilst she shovels the coal,
The belly is full of it.
And milk is now stable
And plowshares from swords
Up from down,
In and truth...
Truth is a perfect circle
and you know
your in the club
with your cereal.
