The Sad Poetry

By Peyton1

I wrote this for a waitress that works in my usual dining establishment. I felt very sad for her. We talk about all kinds of stuff, she is very nice. And now she has a bruise on her face, she said she'll not speak about it.......inspired..........so I write...........The Sad Poetry

Every day I go to the same ole place, It's not just to see what food is listed---
I always search for your smiling face, But today something else co-existed.

I'm so sorry to hear of an incursion, The event of which you will not speak---
You are much too nice of a person,  To deserve the blemish on your cheek.

Not pretending to know of your situation, Just perceptive of things my eyes see---
Being now left to rely on my imagination, What I saw there truly saddened me.

I never knew any good, it were to bring, For someone to raise up their hand---
I would BANISH pain, if I were the king, Yours first, then throughout the land!

Not butting in, just some friendly advice, I hope you're safe from what went wrong---
What happens once, will happen twice,  If your guard stays lowered for too long.

We all have to deal with daily POOO, Sometimes its just too much to handle---
When that happens, know what I do? Slow the burn at one end of the candle!

It's not some scheme, I'll not act it out, This is just me being me openly---
Some of us scream, some of us shout, I just write of it...The Sad Poetry...
