Fall From Grace

By The Talking Wolf-Cat

I feel the light out of reach
Darkness surrounds me
Never to feel the warmth
Of the one I need
I see the warmth of the fire
As I freeze to death
Never to be set free
From this hell in me

I close my eyes and I see
Everything slipping away from me
Nothing lasts forever in this world
Where there's no one for me to hold

I do not care anymore
I'll just stay this way
In a place were I will
Never find my way
Light the fire, and watch me burn!
Save me from this hell
Release me from this place
Watch me fall from grace

I close my eyes and I see
Dark places forming inside of me
Nothing lasts forvever in this world
The place that makes me want to fold

Never to be set free!
From this hell in me!
Release me from this place!
WATCH ME FALL FROM GRACE!

Author's Note:

Here's yet another set of lyrics. I feel as if I have improved from last time, but feel free to tell me otherwise if I haven't. I am not against constructive criticism. Quite the contrary; as that's why I came here in the first place.

I will. You can count on that. Writing is all that keeps me going anymore.

Have you heard Kamelot's song Elizabeth? I dare say you'll like it, mostly because of the rage and the concept of falling from grace. Good work!

I have. I like Kamelot. Thanks! Being compared to them is quite the compliment.
