In my head, You're not really dead

By devilsrighthand

Two years, now,
Since you were taken.
The silent killer, unexpected,
The merciless.

A betrayel of your own body,
But you didn't know.
But in the end,
What's the better way to go?

No longer physical,
But never forgotten.
For you we keep our heads up,
And try not to sink to the bottom.

You were always the writer,
We both knew it.
You had the mind of a God,
Only better.

The times we had,
They can't be repeated.
I can relive them though,
Within my head.

In my mind,
It's not hard to find,
how much I really loved you.

To my first best friend:
You kept me alive, now it's my turn to preserve you.

By honoring his beloved memory; you in turn, honor yourself. No words of mine can begin to express how proud of you I am. Such a profoundly inspirational structure to cherish for years to come. Write on indeed! Scholar
