Rividly Cold

By ArcticWolf999

(this is a writing about a person who tore my heart long ago.)

Rividly Cold

This night in the rain…
Looking through the window I see all my pain.
I see you, your lie.
As tears pour from the darkness of the sky.

You tore me up, broke me down, and left me wanting when you’re not around.
For all I held inside…
Lost every bit of pride…
Left me in the rain to endure alone…

You tore apart…

A heart once rived and bold now left alone and standing cold
I have read beyond your lies
So this is now our goodbye

This will not make me fall again
I will move along and mend

Your life is severed from mine
It’ll free my mind in time

Down this road alone
Carrying myself all my own

You will not overtake my thoughts this night
because you never were my light…
