can't love a fallen Angel
By FadedBlues
Heaven is full of love
so full you could choke on it
it’s all angel hugs & angel kisses
keeping the halo shining,
the wing feathers properly fluffed,
the virginal gown buttoned to the neck
and bleach-white.
sometimes a wayward angel catches the
troubling notes, the jungle beat of the music,
so she peeks through a hole in the sky. she
sees the party, revelers & rebels moving in
dub steps, electro swing, industry, trance, rock&roll!
she scans the dark haired gigolos who haven’t
shaved since Tuesday; the wind-burned Vikings,
brazen & bronzed. & the wild girls wearing a little
something over a lot of naked, alluring skin,
holding tumblers half-full of some exotic juice.
it’s so, so fascinating; it stains the purity of her heart
until it’s the perfect shade of black.
she is rudely tempted, & bites off her velvet chains.
when an angel falls
love is the last thing she’s looking for.
she wants to throw her head back & roar
she wants heavy artillery up her middle,
her peach blossom, her fork in the road.
she needs to feel the rain driven hard, crazy & wet,
maniacal, more reverent than an eternity of Sundays.
let her twirl, let her rave in the ballroom that never ends,
till the horn blows on some far away midnight
& we all go to Hell…
hold her & dance her,
let her spoil the sheets on your bed,
fill all of the deep desires
that scream out of every woman –
but don’t ever try to love her.

Can't Love A Fallen Angel is fire and passion. It is the pinnacle and the bottomless pit. It is the struggle for all that is good. It is the struggle within the evil of all evils.

Excellent FB, I like this shady side of heaven. Now I just need some whiskey and cigarettes to go halo hunting. Nice one man. Later -
