Deathly Hollow Are the Bells
By DeepLoversPoet
“From my rotting body may your roses grow.”
Lay me down six feet in the ground let thy roses root from my body,
and worms feast upon my flesh.
Though I feel nothing
for my soul has left this earth day’s ago.
Here I go the Angels are calling
Ding Dong, Ding Dong Bells are ringing
Bells, Bells are ringing their hollowed song.
Singing for my rising soul
Ding Dong, Ding Dong Bells are ringing
Bells, Bells are ringing singing their hollowed song.
As the Demon’s are left wondering what to do with this poor forgotten
soul.

I think your work is far greater than anything AC/DC ever did. I love this poem, which is kind of like lyrics to me. Great job. 10

Thank you sometimes I think I can over use some words in my poems but I've been told it adds to the affect. :)
