I am the night
By DeepLoversPoet
I am the night the moon bows it’s kiss upon my brow.
I am the night like Decembers chill washing over every hill.
I am the night I bring darkness into sight.
I am the night the stars shout across my skies leaving sparks in my eyes.
I am the night I wake the lilies laying in the moonlight.
I am the night I find delight in darkness and shadow.
I am the night without me you’d have no stars to feel your skies.
