The Devils Snare

By DeepLoversPoet

Above me alums beams of light
not from my soul but from the moons delusion
it shines with such delight.

Dances and tip toes ever so light,
kiss's my skin with UV beams;
as it makes my shin gleam.

Into the night I'm like a shouting star
I ride on the beams of moonlight
as the Devil laughs with such delight
watching my soul leap into fly't
fluttered and flustered
here I go watch as my wings leap into the beams.

My soul belongs only to moonlight delight
with passion I love he
he who can take me where no other dear.

This is the Devil's snare
make no hast make no deal
he holds the cards while you make the bet
look out for his horns
they know how to spear
into the depths where your soul as nothing left to spare.

very nice poem, sounds like you can have a life in fantasy and in reality. a life of desired passions. a life of borrowed time. but somehow its to good to be true. the devil is a dealer of dreams and a maker of nightmares. for some this is paradise, for others its time for an exorcism. for me, this was a good read. awesome!

Haha very true. But in all seriousness, it was a good write. Enjoyed it down to the last word.
