Set in motion

By asailorsangel

At this moment it is set in motion
A feverish banter of wanting
Throwing my self to the floor
On my knees begging please

Please look at me

Can you see the Facade?
It's an unswerving similarity
To the beggars on cobblestone streets
Those with dirty faces, lost souls
And empty tin cups

Is this how you perceive us
Our hands may appear dirty
Our minds empty but if you stopped
Long enough to look into the eyes
Of this beggar

Would you see the mirror image
Of your own soul
What do you see?
Is it your fear?
Is it your love?
Is it the beginning of your life
or is it
The end?

wonderful, hopefully its message will be beheld... more care should be shown for those less fortunate because turning our backs to them is abandoning a part of ourselves, good write *~*aNDReW*~*
