Gone.

By Lil Demon Lady

Almost 6 years,
Gone,
Small disagreements,
Became big,
Little things,
That are of no consequence,
Become mountains,
Insurmountable to pass,
Anger flourished,
Where love once grew,
And a garden of roses,
Became nothing but thorns,
All due to insecurities,
and whispered words,
because we weren't the way we should,
Things were damaged,
A little broken,
It wasn't understood,
So it went unspoken,
The fuel that gave our love its fire,
Turned out to be nothing more,
Then unfulfilled desires.

A relationship that went sour? Is that what this is about? Relationships can be chaotic... And when we end up with someone that is not compatible with us (which I don't know if it's the case, just referring to my own experience) we will end up clashing hard against each other and that is ought to create some damage on each parts.... I hope you managed to overcome whatever that has happened to you and brought you such a sour taste to your mouth. Nothing hurts more than "unfulfilled desires", it's like a boiling mixture in our depth, eventually it's gonna want to surface in an explosive way...

I'll say a part of it went sour, one thing, a very important thing, clashed horridly. We've managed to stay friends, good ones now in fact, better now that we aren't trying push into something because we 'should'.

At least, something was saved. I was in a relationship a year ago and there was nothing to be salvaged from it, it was an unhealthy relationship and the person showed me in the end that she didn't deserved anything from me...

Yeah, sometimes nothing can be done when it ends and even more so, often nothing should be done.

It often helps to 'pen' it down, once I write it down. My mind starts to clear and I can be more rational. ♥

    Something "gone" is better empty

Maybe, but empty is pretty painful too.
