self on a shelf

By dalphon

no depth perception
you only see the surface

no shape recognition
your world is flat

no sense of adventure
you hide from emotion

a stick in the mud
afraid of change, no motion.

life travels at incredible speeds
you scorn others for having needs

you boast of being a superior creature
you are without any redeeming feature.

you blame others for stealing
what you never possessed

you are responsible for your pitiful existence
your SELF on a shelf
an eternal sentence
