Good-bye sweet dream
I’ll let go without a whimper
I could never make it hard
For you
So I won’t start now
Just go
Before it hurts
Too much
I’ll believe the good-bye
That belies you
So desperate to turn the page
But unready for the end
Of the chapter
Leave me more alone
Than I was before
Can this hole
Get any deeper
Than all the way through
Me
Waking dreams
Are the hardest to understand
And/or
Forget.
