Haunt Me in Fall

By SaintNHB

Fall is letting earth reveal its death
Cold air whipping and taking away your breath
(Like a good love who’d never leave,
or a good book you’ll always read)

Colors in intricate designs kiss the ground
Crunching beneath your feet
You thought you’d never be found
But the earth is wrapping you in a sheet-
of comfort and reminiscence
autumn is as clean as a childs innocence

If you had a daughter, you’d name her this
Because Autumn is a dear friend of bliss

A good, powerful expression...enjoyable from start to end, and a great vocabulary. 10.
