He presses himself against me in the kitchen
where I am mixing tears with oil in a frying pan
he clutches my hips
he parts his teeth

"Crying is the removal of salts through the ocular structure.
You are simply utilizing the neuronal connection positioned between your lacrimal system and the portion of your brain responsible for emotions. That is all."

Dinner still burns
but I feel okay again
