Expendable Game

By Undertaker

The undertaker watches but only from a distance
Cursed yellow eyes following every instance

A man walking down streets paved with bright lights
Couples huddled together gripping each other oh so tight

An inseparable love, this bond shared between two and a kiss
For others, memories, burried deep, only to be missed

Left to live lives misery all alone
An architect creating a masterpiece in a black tone

The future of his dark devious design
Ending with a big bang, just sign the red splotched dotted line

With no one to care for in the world
A pain that grows deeper each passing day
Her, the onetime silver lining, heart rotted, decayed

A man left in anguish has no cap on what he might do
Driven by pain, lifts his head high to gaze at the moon

Reaches down, pulls out a rusty muzzled gun
Aims it towards a sweaty beaded head
Repeats deep, those vessels of the mind, “this empty life, IS DONE”

At the top of his lungs screams out her cryptic name
Pulls the trigger…
Gears that once rotated with  joy, love, happyness.. no shame

Shattered, broken, it was all in vain
ending this damned expendable game
