caged he knew'

By IAmNorge

"From this cage that I'm living in, In the distance a dead man's grin. "

"He knows the back alleys that are ahead, the worthless and the cold fighting to live again. "

"He knows my hearts desires with the veins of blackened fire, the smokey rooms and dusty souls of the living old, I know what his simile dare shows in these the unspoken low times of a life lead. "

"This man is sin and hatred, a fate for fickle' few, he comes to dare a life to run yet sells the passage through. "

"Ahead I see the ghastly figure of the man waiting to decree my worth alone is lost to me. "

"No victims feel the sting of giving up their heart when willingly they sing to have it unspeakably torn from the crown of whores that got there first. "

"All that a heart may mean, when out about it is a lonely, dirty little thing, covered in soot and coal tis but a bloody hole of what it used to be. "

"Take a heart from me, but I refuse to see it cry when looking back to once the home it rested nights so long, so few"

"Payments dear and always due, yet playing' better when you pay to lose."

"One road ahead, that's what he said, one road transgressed yet not just yet, left for yesterday but yesterday's decision was worse then bad is red."

"Poker may and poker might but pokin' the rules will lose you a life."

Lets see if we can't go back to yesterday and forget all this nonsense?
