A Snowfall's Wrath

By Pryzm

Slipping beneath a blanket,
slumbering in dreamscape.
Laced with fear and wonder,
anticipated and accepted.

The soul knows of the sunrise,
a few hours ahead.
Cleansing the mind,
of late-night meanderings.

Bearing a new day,
in continuance of old.
Breaking the chords,
of a silent voice.

For this night I slumber,
in the downing of crystals.
Cover my sleeping soul,
in warmth and peace.
