Birth
By Pryzm
Rainbows in the sky,
Silken coffins flutter in a breeze.
The tickle of a ringing phone,
Breathless hesitation of her voice.
Embracing one of millions,
Union of x and y.
Fire
caresses a black sky,
Seducing the night from an icy moon.
Mother’s fire belches,
Fireweed delves defiance.
Southern
friends are home,
Singing among shimmering curbed waters.
Delicate life reminded,
Awakened soul from the light.
Feathered
flames of a tainted soul,
A lifetime upon the red egg.
To
view through Pryzm,
Color guised in light.
Raindrops dance
upon sand,
Savannah drinks quickly.

Depends on the subject. My experience with poetry and writing is no where near pro-am, that I will say.
