Angel with Defects
By metaphormachine
You must it unconditional
for ironing bring ...
Sweaty bedlinen
forever
wet through with perspiration
to the bottom
through my scar
a cross in
the mattress burned
through my heart
the sweetest delta
for me
from me so far
noshed on a strawberry
as this summer
dirty
the bedding tastes
still after her
I will never change the sheets ...

i love the details you chose to share rather than the more obvious ones. it shows a tenderness of heart. both romantic and a bit tragic all at once. this one lingers.

Heh. Must have been quite the angel... A beautiful memory put in a cloth of a bed. Slightly romantic.
