Sheep Whisperer

By Malcholm Dark

"My fellow Americans, I come to you with a matter of grave importance..."  (Presidential address)

People, listen to what I have to say
I speak of the games that you all must play.
I will whisper into your empty ears
For my lies are the sum of all your fears.

I'm in your mundane lives day after day
Hear me talking to you, hear what I say.
Learn of the havoc from words which I speak
I am the gospel, that comfort you seek.

The media is one of my best used tools
It takes me to the homes of my favored fools.
I'm the man unchecked, wickedness unseen
And my words will make you stand up and sing.

Soon my ideals will become crystal clear
By hearing the things that you need to hear.
And twisting lies into truths so you can see
Will bring my flock that much closer to me.

I am called the sheep Whisperer, my friends
I'll be some place else when mayhem descends.
And don't raise awareness, don't make a peep
Be one of the many, my senseless sheep!

"...as Americans, I know we can overcome these hardships."
