What's the Score?

By dalphon

You said that our love,
needs a little room to breathe.

But during my time alone,
I sit in the dark and seethe.

You always make an excuse,
for why I can't have my way.
I keep coming up with reasons,
for why I must stay.

You tell me you can't live without me,
then immediately shut me out of your world.

You insist on keeping me here,
though I know not what for.

I seem to be down a few points,
God, I wish I knew the score.

thanks. I find inspiration in odd places and when it strikes I just let it flow through and onto the page.
