Love, Your Slave

By dalphon

I see the desire and passion in you,
the tenderness and concern.

I see the fear and agony,
the uncertainty and shame.

You are withdrawn and indifferent for show,
yet vibrant and glowing when we are alone.

You see it coming,
You even respond,
not knowing if it is working,
or even what you want.

I am in this to the end,
come what may.

Should I try to stop this?
To stand in FATE's way?

No need to make things worse.

No need to force a change.

None of these decisions are mine.

   Love,
      Your Slave.
