Fragile

 I may be emotional,
but I am not fragile.

I have endured pain and suffering and guilt,
yet still I have the strength to pull you from the abyss.

You insist that you are a rock,
that your will can not be broken.

But then why do you cry,
when the softest of words are spoken?

    Don't we all try to be strong even if its not true? Sometimes soft words slip under your tough outer shell and stab you in the heart. I love words like that.
