Cemetery Ballerina
By Cassidello
Where there was light she made dark
And wherever she fled, she brought with her the
Dead
Memories fall on her like rain, and she shared her
Pain
Is what she carried, and buried deep within her
Sorrows
She has many, while she dances through cemeteries
Digging up old bones, picking off roted
Flesh
She tore it off, of skeletons buried beneath her fragile feet
Dancing gracefully,
emptily
on the cold dirt
And when blood stained her feet
She fell
Deep
Into the hell
She'll never let go.

I like it a lot. I used to walk around in cemeteries when I was depressed. Made me feel like I was one-up on everybody else. Never did any dancing though. Awesome feel and cool style with this. Til next time -

Sad tale of mournful misery that some seem to relish as a dancing partner throughout life, well done and a fine metaphor.
