The Lady Of The Night

By VampireMandy

she walks the night to barrow the shadows
to creep in and out of darkened bars and darkened streets
keeping to her self till the mornings light
but only to stop and take a bite
her first victim for the night
an old man with such a fright
then moving on to the mornings light
but before the brake of dawn
her seconded victim
a long blond with a vibrating scream
but steal light creeps up over mornings horizon
her third victim for the night
a lovely lady with eyes like the rising sun
shimmered as the light hit the horizon and all turned to ash
and burnt to a crisp
as the shadows turned into light
and the lady of the night was no more then a pile of ash
and so we say our permanent goodnight to the lady of the night
