Weep, Weep
By Poe Etiquette
Weep, weep, ye river streams
O'er shadows, pale and glinting beams
Weep across leaf and moss, as dreams
That stitch the mind as thread through seams
Weep, weep, ye liquid grace
Let fall your tears down mountain face
To slither to its weary base
The poison from its heart, erase
Weep, weep, ye dreary skies
Veil the sorrow-stricken eyes
With virgin drops like first good-byes
That muffle out the somber cries
Weep, weep, ye sparrow choir
Your notes that linger like the lyre
With melodies that roar like fire
And tell the tale of lost desire
Weep, weep, ye empty earth
From thy cradle to empty hearth
Stricken void of hope or worth
Weep ye, for my death and birth

I love this...:) This Ãs romantic and the old romantics loved nature and dreaming themselves away to warmer destinations...so this hit home. Keep writing, o thou pale poet. Edgar A Poe would have liked you.
