Shatter the Superficial Mind

By Little_Zombie

 I’m an empty hull

               Like a broken porcelain doll

I just left the real me on the shelf

Collecting dust of forgotten dreams and hopes

Pushing them to the back on the room hiding from the world

      Seeing is deceiving

                                 But dreaming is believing

The tears falling doesn’t mean I’m losing

                    Because everyone is hurting

I’m an empty hull

              Of hopes and dreams

Begging to break the glass and to be free

Shatter the superficial mind of this heaven

 Seeing is deceiving

                                 But dreaming is believing

The tears falling doesn’t mean I’m losing

Some unique and pensive lines have you penned to create this collage, nicely done and well wrought work. Good luck with that glass ceiling, cheers!
