If it were you

By daiglepoems

Don't put what I know on show.
Don't let anybody see.
Won't let anybody know.
I'm Mister Mystery.

I ain't nobody's flunkie.
I ani't nobody's bitch.
Like that see no evil monkey,
I ain't nobody's snitch.

Don't ask anybody "why?"
I mind my P's and Q's.
If someone has to die
someone else can spread the news.

That's the law I say alive by
and it will guarantee
I'm not the target of a drive-by.
Don't you dare look down on me.

If it were you in here instead
you'd wind up getting pimped.
After giving up some head
they'd hold you in contempt.

You'd be their junkie bitch
if it were you in here instead,
you'd probably be a snitch
and you'd probably end up dead.
