Humanity

Threatened from anger, salvaged from sympathy. Death awaiting to approach me.

Week and dieing, down and crying,
The sun has set.

Fall inside and drown from fighting,
Your mind is locked.
Bard from the inside, safely resides the last we have.

A war refused to be faught.
At what cost?
How can we lose humanity already lost.

Greed becomes us, hate empowers us,

Can we really feel? The only color that matters is green.

Stating the obvious just to get noticed, is anyone there?

Are you comprehending
The words I'm saying

How life has lied.

There is no truth to justice, only lies suffice.

Lying alone through lit up nights wondering why life has passed on by.

Mope, smile, laugh, and cry.

To the end we never make.

With the chance we've yet to take.

Drawing just to be seen.

Writing just to be heard.

Emotion filling each and every word.

In this dieing world we ignore,

By switching of the lights and locking the door.
