Perfectly Imperfect
By cadymae
Perfectly good thoughts
In an imperfect mind
Never reach the
ears
Of those of similiar kind
Ideas bounce ungrounded
And never reach earth
Where we could implement
And fulfill
their worth
Why can suggestions
And tweaks to uplift
Depart, words unsaid,
Leaving us still to sift
Alas
so it is
Nothing to do
Except perhaps listen
when some
do leak through.

A piece worth its weight in gold..Any thoughts that resonate whether or not it seems good at the time, I try to note down quickly before the ether comes and makes them disappear.

The first stanza is awesome! especially the thought of how many poems a poet doesn't share that they keep locked to there self in fear of it not being good enough. Thank you
