Obliterating One's Oesophagus

By Virgils Vigil

Rip your throat out

Casanova sold out

Amadeus drew and slew me a ride

Goethe solemnly waved goodbye

Voltaire’s reform includes, there’s no doubt

The act of maliciously tearing your throat out

Not up to speed on a couple of these guys but I think Voltaire maybe ends with an "e"?. Title grabbed me with the unusual spelling of esophagus too - British? Thanks.
