Baby Jane

By Dragonfly

You emulate me to a “Tee”

and watch how I rip myself apart

for every blemish, imperfection, flaw, weakness I see.

I noticed that from the start.

Please baby Jane, pay no attention to your flaws.

you are beautiful as you are.

unlike me who is as imperfect as you ever saw

You are a beautiful supernova star.

Don't follow my footsteps

or breathe in my breath -

or step like me a single step

You deserve much more depth

Baby Jane, you are so beautiful unlike me

why must you starve yourself for you to see.
