I'm a Ghost, Not a Whore
By SaintNHB
I’ve cried tears to fill the Black Sea
Cozy darkness from brittle
intimacy
Filthy white fills my vision
A lifes worth of wounds
in minutes
The Beginning:
A fight erupts
You sulk
away
I run after, I try to save us
Take a walk down a dirt path,
the moon is glowing
Its midnight as I beg you to stay
Then:
It seems alright, we share a kiss
But what do I know?
Your
mind switches, split personality
“Get off of me!”
I’m weak,
I’m frail
Down this dirt trail
You get what you want, I forgive
After:
You disappear with just a lie
I don’t speak
about the events
Later:
Apologies, sincerities you swear
up and down
That you never would have
left it if that fool hadn't come around

Didn't understand if with split personality you mean yourself, but that term is no stranger in my life. You might find someone here who has a thing or two to tell about that :)

I know how this feels. I have been down this same path. It's funny how something so tragic can bring forth great poetry. Nice work!
