Amor Immortalis

By alesana

 Soft skin, swirled fingertips
Reaching out, seeing love
A silent teardrop falls
As fingers brush against the ice
Ice - not sweet adoration
One hand on either side
The warmth of veins to melt this wall
Patience, faith, purity
If it takes a thousand years -
This wall will disappear.
