My place

By kenneth

The wind is blowing through the trees
Can you hear the gentle whispers in the wind
Can you see the beauty that I see in these
It makes me feel innocent as though I never sinned

The full glory of the midnight moon
Shining ever so brightly
Basking in the light of the moon
It grips my heart tightly

All the stars in the sky
Shining with their magnificence
I watch the shooting stars go by
It is complete and pure elegance

As I watch this Eden before me
I realise something is amiss
The angel of my dreams is not beside me
Without her I want none of this
