Trading math for bricks

By Crush_With_Eyeliner

Exploring the
abyss
for hours like
stale coffee
or mathematics.
Gallows
on the left
while the right
a less fortunate
fate.

Create my own
path to drown
in
with an undertow
as sick and
sweet
as an empty
balladeer
or an absentee
landlord.

Bricks and mortar
with
nothing else
even half as
stern.

Now THIS is how to express writer's block...Inspirational in that 'tell it like is' sort of way. Brilliant.
