Best haiku I have read on this site, I have wrote many haiku but none with the deep feeling of reflection I got from this one.

Snow. I thought on this haiku for several minutes... then realised I was in that "space". I was the "single snow flake"... I recalled the cathedrals of New England pine tree mountains covered in snow, the city streets of Boston or NYC at night as the soft, slow, surreal snowfall transformed the weight of the world, and in a sense how I transcended... the snow flakes juxtaposed in the glittering neon and period-like lampposts. From that single snow flake to a powerful mountain storm, falling yet rising. Amazing how powerful & complex three simplistic lines can be as Coldpacked Pantheon - the perfect title. I went into this, clicking the link expecting an epic, yet saw only the three lines like a single snow flake... and it was, in my speculations, that I realised (as already stated) this haiku is epic. Well done. Pure genius.

hmmmm..... on the one hand I associate the lack of sense with the house of gods... where dogma is perhaps nonsense, on the other hand, the cold of the snow seems to be numbing the senses... then again, the notion that just one snow flake could snow may be considered as lacking sense, in the sense that it never snows just one flake.... space could be associated with the house, perhaps, or be taken as synecdoche, a part of science and thereby express the opposition to dogma.... and assert that science holds sway over dogma... the packed notion in the title seems to suggest either a contradiction with the space (packed vs empty/open).... or maybe a tension with the idea of a single flake.... snow, snow, no... I like the repetition of the denial over and over again.... I'm not a big fan of haiku, but this was intriguing... to me...... as a potential critique of faith, perhaps.

Fantastic analysis. You really picked up on the many ways I wanted people to be able to go with it. Thank you for taking the time to comment.

I'm not overly fond of the form, myself, but holy shit that's deep & original. Don't see many haikus like this one. I'm not able to make so few words say so much, I guess. Much respect! Great poem! Hah!...I'm living proof that 'space honors no sense'....

awaited genius; profoundly simple. complexity in wonder and singularity. .... and really this hits me hard...the title alone conjures this immense weight; an abandoned faith, a falsely deified quiet. . .. . i read this and feel an incredible sense of isolation....shattering the silence....it takes all of one's senses to be able to still one's self in the midst of all.....trembling....there is a foreshadowing, slightly harrowing, and i dun know if you just plucked a discord from my own hurt, or if. .. . . yes. this is long awaited.
