She's a poison (that I take willingly)
By N3ll
Her eyes,
They've got this crazy sparkle
That warn me
when
she's dangerous
A Golden speck
That shines an SOS
In a
sea of aquamarine
And if I let her
She'll tear out my
heart
Vein
by
vein,
Aorta to her lips
my
essence
dripping down her chin.
(I'd wipe it up with a
smile and put that finger to my lips)
Because I don't
mind
The pain
That her
Dagger stares
Cause as they
pierce my soul
And I embrace the poison
Of her carelessly
flung words
Arrows
that graze my cheek
And sometimes hit
home.
( i deserve every syllable that makes me stagger)
She's got this smell about her
That makes
every fiber
scream
Danger
But Her smile
blinds, dizzying senses
And Her mirror eyes
Quicksand
That suffocates me slowly.
(I swear if I look close enough
It's me in that ocean
Sending
signals to be saved)
and Her pain radiates
Reflects
off of me
and Her tragic beauty
Makes me walk
on egg shells
She's trained me
(so unconsciously)
A servant cradling
her fragile bone china
But I don't
flinch
At my torn hands and knees
That leave a
Trail of
crimson passion
behing me
( a testament to you)
Instead I savor the weight
Of her
On my
back
As I crawl
Across the glittering lake
Composed of the fractured
And shattered shards of herself
Once you've fallen into her
Escape is hopeless

The first verse really took off. Intensely composed work. So very dark yet touching....
