Anon
By Poe Etiquette
I search for her in mourning light,
And by the wistful
moon at night,
I seek for her in ev'ry tomb,
The resting place
of my Anon
And under mountains void of peak,
For my death
and love i seek,
Though her face I do despise,
I can not help
but heed her cries
She would give me an eternal rest,
Beneath
her skin of stars carress'd,
And though I can'st release life's grasp,
i see her hand on shadow's past
I know she calls me home for
her,
Earth's dewey depths I must defer,
For how can I refuse
myself,
The essence of my mortal health
So I search for
her alone,
Wishing still that she be-gone,
For as my eyes wander
on and on,
They dampen my face for my Anon

Wow. This was amazing. The only problem I had with it was the color of the font...made it extremely difficult to read...but anyway, the piece itself was wonderful. Happy to see you with membership.

some intricate imagery here embedded in a fine rhyme.... an immediacy in need.. a sublime longing, perhaps... for She who cannot be held. Welcome to the valley
